At the moment it is not clear what a Read of Condition variables should return if the Quality of the Condition is Bad, e.g. no connection to the underlying system.

The only place where we are talking about status of variable values is if the Condition is disabled.

Optionn 1:
Since Condition events will provide the last value and just the quality field indicates the Bad status, data values should also provide these last event values with good status.

Option 2:
All fields coming from the underlying system provide bad status when reading them.
