Summary | 0003582: 6.2.6 RegisterApplication and handling of duplications
Description | CMPWG 10/27/2016: Is there a situation that a GDS would reject RegisterApplication? For example, can I register an application where the applicationUri already exists? The current text says "... to register a new Application"; does "new" mean a unique applicationUri? or does it mean that any field within the ApplicationRecordDataType structure is different? Are there reasons that justify the existence of multiple records for a single application? (we couldn't think of one) We think additional guidance is needed:
This is made a little more confusing with the following text found in 6.2.4 FindApplications: "... however, system configuration errors can create situations where the GDS has multiple entries for a single ApplicationUri."
