Summary | 0003501: 7.6.4 clarification of DomainNames
Description | CMPWG 8/4/2016: We are confused with the domainNames parameter. The SubjectName field contains a DC= The SubjectAlt field contains a DNSName= or IPAddress= or Hostname= The word "domain" is used differently for different meanings, so which is it? what does the "domainNames" map to? the subjectName or subjectAlt? Is a domainName a hostname, domain name only, or fully qualified hostname? e.g. myHost, myHost.myOrg.com, myHost.myDept.myOrg.com, etc. We're not sure if domainNames is needed as a separate parameter if its values will be pasted into the SubjectName's DC= field.
