Independent Certification Test Signup Procedure

1. Understand the OPC Certification options and procedures:

A. Read the Certification Overview Page.
B. Read the OPC Test Lab Specifications, especially Part 4.
C. Review the Compliance Logo License Agreement.

2. Make sure your product passes the OPC Foundation Test Tools first!

3. Complete the Test Lab Request online form.

4. Pay $1000 (USD) non-refundable deposit by credit card to guarantee the time slot.

5. The Test Lab will contact you with a Product Checklist and to finalize a time slot in the lab.

Based on the data you enter in the Product Checklist, the Certification Test Lab will provide you a dollar and time estimate for the testing. You will always be billed for the actual time used at the rate of $1000.00 (USD) per day.

7. Send a purchase order or credit card for the testing based on the estimate from the Test Lab.

8. Your product expert assists the Test Lab with the testing of your product at the scheduled date/time.

9. Your product test result is published on the website. If your product passes:

A. You are given the Certified Logos and a signed Compliance Logo License Agreement.
