Certification Test Lab Signup Procedure

1. Make sure your product passes the OPC Foundation Compliance Test Tool(s) first!

2. Understand the OPC Certification options and procedures:

A. Read the Certification Overview Page.
B. Read the OPC Test Lab Specifications.

3. Complete the Test Lab Application form.

4. Complete the Product Functionality Checklist.

The information in the functionality checklist is used to create the test-plan. Testing that is not covered by the membership benefit will incur a standard rate of $1000.00 (USD) per day.

5. If applicable, send a purchase order or credit card for the testing-services based on the estimate from the Test Lab.

6. A certification test engineer will contact you and guide you through the process.

Once testing is complete and your product has passed all of the tests then you will receive the logo license agreement, and the official Certified logo (provided in low and high-resolution formats).

OPC Foundation Corporate Members are eligible for FREE* testing at the OPC
Foundation Certification Test Lab:

• Class A: 4 products
• Class B: 3 products
• Class C: 2 products
• Class D: 1 product
